I've never been one to really care much about power, wealth, fancy cars, fancy houses, and all the other trappings that many people think of when they consider the word, "success."
I've always thought that success is the freedom to live your life on your own terms, to set your own schedule, to do the things you want to do, to set your own goals, and to strive to achieve them.
I also believe that anyone who helps others get what they need and want is successful.
Think of all the people who help in whatever way they can. Maybe they volunteer at a non-profit thrift shop to help raise funds.
Perhaps they help cook and serve meals to the needy.
Maybe they volunteer to drive a sick neighbor to the doctor.
Whenever we help someone else, I think that makes us a success, regardless of whether we're rich or poor.
Yes, I would like wealth, but it's not my primary motivating factor.
What about you? How do you define success?
Act on your dream!
